THE OLD AGE HOME SERVICE WHICH IS ALSO HELPFUL FOR THE SINGLE AND INDIPENDENT PEOPLE
The scenario changed gradually and steadily with the decline of
the joint family system, which was replaced by the nuclear family system. While
the younger generation had no difficulty in moving out of the house and
adjusting themselves to new environs and getting adapted to new ways of life,
it is the elderly group that found the change to be a hardship. They found the
going tough with attached sentiments, comforts and property holdings.
